The Federal Bureau of Prisons described Jones as a ‘serial offender.’

‘I would say he has a reputation for making bold statements,’ said Andrew White, a former Royal Military College graduate and former officer in the British Army.

Jones is a former marine who spent six months in Afghanistan but was arrested as soon as he returned to Canada in early 2010.
