That’s what photographer Jim McEwan told the British Photographic Society at its annual photodisplay (photodisplay.bg) conference, which took place in Edinburgh in May. The UK’s leading magazine of photography, the Telegraph, published an article the next day titled, “8-inch photo is the big news.”
McEwan said the huge size of the 8×10 photo “was an invitation from the world,” according to the Telegraph. “It was very big and very serious!”
And the “world” has taken notice. People in Europe, Canada, and Australia are now turning to the 8×10 photo for great portraits—often using the picture on social networks. That’s because digital image captures up to 200 megapixels. So when McEwan showed the 8×10 photo with a large-format print, an 8×10 image would yield about 800 megapixels.

US officials say Mr Rouhani will visit Washington on 2-3 April to discuss the new framework agreement.

He also will discuss Iran’s nuclear policy with foreign counterparts, including US Secretary of State John Kerry.
After he became the first Iranian president to visit the US, Mr Rouhani told the New York Times he wanted to address issues of influence and development in the region, as well as the global threat of terrorism.

There’s been a great deal of excitement in Washington following both developments.
What’s really happened is that Iran has been asked to take part in a huge diplomatic push, one that is very significant in the context of the US-Iran dynamic.
We can see these negotiations are going to play into President Rouhani’s hands. They’re designed to be a way of getting him to see how big a problem he and the Islamic Republic of Iran are facing in the current international scene.
He’s also going to have to work out which of Iran
