If you can answer the following questions in the affirmative, I am sure you are qualified to be a life coach. I will explain in more detail below.
Is there an accredited program?
Yes, a number of life coaches (I have personally known several) are certified life coaches through the Accredited Lifelong Learning Program, and a few others through the Accredited Leadership Institute. This program is similar to the Life Coaching program, where the program leader/life coach can be a life coach to a number of students and have the freedom to determine the level of coaching that they require. They can choose to do a very low level of coaching or do an extremely high level coaching.
Can I attend a course and learn from a certified life coach while doing my job?
Yes. This could be by attending an approved course during the course program, but if you have already attended and completed a course and wish to take courses at your own pace and without certification then I am sure you are qualified to get a life coach. You will have to wait until this course is over before you can sign up a life coach.
Will I get life coaching from teachers or instructors without any certification?
No. Many teachers are already certified life coaches. The question of whether a teacher is qualified or not will be discussed during the course registration process, and some teachers will offer more information than they would if they were not certified.
What if I want to go to a school at my own pace or by myself?
Yes. This is a wonderful opportunity for many people, many life coaches as well, with the freedom to find a course for you that meets your needs at each level of coaching. The cost to take a course is usually free for new life coach registrants. Register at my website and you can see what courses are available to you. What is the difference between life coaching and life coaching certification?
Life coaching is based on the concept of “learning management”, which is the process by which you can increase your life skills over time through the accumulation of small accomplishments. Certification is defined as a certification issued by an organization that has the ability to evaluate the validity of your achievements, the efficacy of your work, and the quality of your advice, all of which you can receive in a very specific and limited fashion. In addition, Certification does not include the ability to coach or conduct research (
