What is a direct grant?

A direct grant is a donation made by one person to another. So the two people making the donation would not be paid. It is also not an opportunity for the donor to take back the money.

Why was the donation made?

The donor wanted to help the project as many people have been asking for more space to store their books and other materials. The donation is for $250.00; therefore the money is not income. What the donation was intended to do was give the project what it needed; the site owner, a space for storage and more storage, and access to the internet and other media that they could use for their project. They did not give the site owner any money to do the project.

How is the money distributed?

The community of site owners are given a one time payment of $250.00 per month or $350.00 if everyone is also eligible. This money makes up the bulk of the funds; however, some of the funds will make up an amount to pay for site fees, site support, site upgrades, and more.

How does the money go for development?

In addition to the monetary payment for the building and site costs, the community of site owners receive monthly donations that cover some of the sites development needs. It is up to the site owners to make it worthwhile for them. Some sites require additional costs. These donations go directly to the site owner and to his or her family members in a manner that they think is right for them.
