There is no need to spend much time on the surface or in the water to build a system, but there are a few things you should consider before diving and designing your system.

For what it’s worth, the best systems will never sink! They only self-sink. A self-sink is just a system that is set up to sink, whether the system itself is in water or land.

This is the ultimate advantage of your new home, your new dive kit, your new dive computers, your new electronics. You’re always in a diving situation where there is a need to get down on the bottom and get in touch with the ocean, but your systems aren’t set up for self-sinking.

In this article, I’ve listed out a few factors in your underwater home’s survival that will help you prevent or minimize drowning.

First off, you need a system that will allow you to have a minimum of 15 minutes at sea.

You really ought to take care to not have a systems or submersible in the water at all times.

The problem that many divers and snorkelers have is they don’t know that they have more than 15 minutes at sea. You’ve probably read of boats where people have been killed in an accident when someone went into the water but it is usually not because of drowning, but due to “submersible” malfunction.
